Egg Toasties

Sliced hard boiled Scottish eggs and cheese on toast
makes a fine teenagers supper dish. Good for
breakfast too.

Serves 4

Hard boil 8 Scottish eggs shell and slice them
Toast 8 slices of bread spread with butter and
4tablesp, savoury sandwich spread.

Arrange egg slices on toast

Slice thinly 3oz (75g) cheese (Cheddar or Lancashire)

Cover egg with cheese and grill until cheese melts.

Serve hot or cold, cut into fingers or squares.


Note:
If making lots of toasties bake in the oven at gas mark 6
electricity 400f 200c for a few minutes instead of grilling.
