Press Release

For Immediate Release 30th April 2004

Perfect Complexion from Egg White

'Not so long ago' nurses used the white or albumen of a fresh egg to relieve a baby’s bottom from nappy rash.

A favourite way of using it was to whisk the white, bringing in oxygen to form a aerobic bacterial balm to cool and heal even bed sores.

After putting on the egg white, it dried and formed a skin, thus protecting and sealing the injured parts of the skin.

An old Mum’s cure even for spots was the white of an egg painted on the spot, which would disappear in 3  to 4 days time.

So not only are eggs a supplier of pure protein plus lots of vitamins and minerals, they are also the miracle cure for spots and nappy rash.

If you have any teenagers around and your eggs keep disappearing but there's none of that tell tale evidence of cooking having taken place, you now know why.
